November, 13-14, 2008 company “Technology group” in conjunction with Ministry of Health Care of Ukraine, Kharkov Medical Academy of after-graduation education, the Association of neonatologists of Kharkov region, the Head governance of helath care of Kharkov regional state administration conducted Ukraine-wide seminar-training with international participation “Modern technologies in intensive care of infants”.

The main aim of the seminar – to improve the competent medical support to infants and to provide the doctors-neotologists and child’s anesthetiziologists of departments of intensive care of infants with after-graduation education.

Seminar-training was held in Kharkov in a modern exhibition centre “Radmir Expohall”.

This event gathered neonotologists, pediatricians, anesthetiziologists from all over Ukraine. 250 specialists registed and participated in the seminar.

In order to present reports and conduct trainings there were invited the leading specialists in the area of neonotology of Ukraine, and also foreign specialists from Germany and Brasil who represented the companies-manufacturers of medical equipment.

One of the first reports was the report of Head neonotologist of Ministry of Health of Ukraine, professor, the head of subdepartment of neonotology of National Medical Academy of After-graduation Education named after P.L.Shupik Shunko Elizaveta Evgenievna, who made a report on topic “The role of modern technologies in improvement of quality of neonatal care in Ukraine

INTERMED (Brasil) is a company which is specialized in development, production and sales of medical equipment, basically these are the devices for artificial pulmonary ventilation and anesthesia equipment. The company INTERMED was represented by Jorge Bonassa and Ewerton Bissi with the reports on topic “The possibilities of infants’ventilation with Inter Neo devices” and “The clinical aspects of usage of Inter Neo device”.

Medin Medical Innovations GmbH is a German company which develops the innovative and effective products for neonatology and pediatrics. The company Medin was represented by professor Gert Kniewasser with a report on topic “The system of nCPAP in intensive care of infants”.
